Volunteer – A Bear Affair Gala 2025 Make Every Moment Count for Children with Life-Limiting Conditions

Join us for a meaningful night of giving at A Bear Affair, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation’s annual black-tie gala supporting Bear Cottage—the only children’s hospice in NSW.

📅 Date: Saturday, 13 September at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.

As a volunteer, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests while supporting fundraising efforts that make a real difference for children and families in palliative care.

Volunteer Roles Available:

🔹 Guest Assistance & Event Registration – Welcoming guests, checking in attendees, and providing event information

🔹 Auction & Raffle Support – Assisting with live and silent auctions, managing raffle ticket sales

🔹 Event Logistics & Event Setup – Helping set up and style the venue before the event

🔹 Fundraising Support

🔹 Pack-Down Crew – Assisting with event closure and ensuring a smooth wrap-up

What You Need to Know:

✅ Volunteers will be representing SCHF and Bear Cottage in a professional and friendly manner
✅ Training and briefing will be provided before the event
