Key Duties:

As a Guest Experience Volunteer, you’ll play an important role in helping our monthly events run smoothly by:

• Welcoming and assisting guests as they arrive
• Registering repair requests and managing the visitor queue
• Connecting guests with available volunteer repairers
• Answering questions and helping create a positive, inclusive atmosphere
• Supporting basic admin or event setup tasks as needed

Skills and Experience:

You don’t need any formal qualifications or experience, just a warm, approachable manner, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Basic organisational or customer service experience is a bonus, but not essential.

About Us:

The Beenleigh Repair Café is part of a global movement focused on sustainability and community connection. Held on the first Saturday of each month (excluding January), our Repair Café brings together volunteer repairers and community members to fix household items, everything from clothing and bikes to electrical appliances, free of charge.
