As an IT Support & System Trainer, you will be responsible for:

• Furry Friends Animal Rescue QLD, driven by Care, Community, and Commitment, is seeking a skilled volunteer App Developer to create vital applications for our organisation. We have workflow outlines ready; we need your expertise to bring them to life, incorporating AI to boost efficiency. You will design and build user-friendly applications for computer, mobile, and tablet platforms. A key focus will be integrating AI agents to automate repetitive administrative tasks currently performed by our dedicated volunteers.The following qualifications and experience are highly sought after:

• We're searching for someone who has:

  • Experience building applications for multiple platforms (computer, mobile, tablet).
  • Personal experience using AI tools (like DeepSeek or similar) or demonstrated experience/strong interest in building AI agents.
  • Ability to work from existing workflow documentation to guide app development.
  • Experience or a keen interest in exploring low-code development platforms such as Bubble or N8N to accelerate app creation (an advantage).
  • A desire to apply technology, especially AI, to solve real-world problems for a charitable cause.
  • A genuine commitment to animal welfare.
