We have some male residents at our home in Kingswood who would really enjoy the support of a male volunteer who is keen to facilitate a regular, basic Men's Group. This role would involve some preparation before the group and suit a volunteer who enjoys having a good chat and has a passion for connection & making a difference. Ideally you will have good clear spoken English to make communication easier with residents who can be a bit hard of hearing at times.

You might want to watch some sport together, play pool or cook a BBQ to enjoy in one of our lovely garden courtyards, swap travel stories or screen a documentary on a topic the group is interested in. The options are broad, and you will be well supported by our wonderful staff.

Volunteering is win-win! Our residents have an incredible amount of experience and wisdom to share and your life will be enlarged and enriched as you get to know them. You may get to try out new skills which could be great on a resume or even develop a new career direction after seeing the home in action.
