Board Members & Treasurer (Volunteer Roles)

Creeds Farm Living and Learning Centre is seeking passionate, community-minded volunteers to join our Board of Governance — including a Treasurer to lead our Finance and Risk oversight.
We are a not-for-profit neighbourhood house in Epping North, empowering our diverse community through social, recreational, and educational programs.
We are looking for individuals with interest or experience in:
- Governance or strategic leadership
- Finance, accounting or compliance (especially for Treasurer)
- Community development
- Marketing and communications
- HR, digital systems, or legal backgrounds
Treasurer Role: We are also looking for a Treasurer to:
- Review monthly financial reports with the Centre Manager and Finance Officer
- Guide strategic financial planning and compliance
- Lead the Finance & Risk sub-committee (meets every two months)
Time Commitment: Board meetings: Every 6 weeks on Thursday evenings (6pm–8pm) Format: Hybrid — mostly online, with one in-person meeting every three Preparation: 1–2 hours per meeting Treasurer: Extra 2-hour Finance sub-committee meeting every two months
