Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager for a brand new startup charity, your role is critical in promoting our services, improving brand recognition, increasing social following, and building relationships with donors and sponsors. We are in the business of helping people. But we can't help people who don't know about us, and we can't do it without funding. By helping us grow our online and physical presence in this area, you will be allowing us to expand our reach and help even more people in even more ways.
Required Skills
- You will need to be good with technology
- Demonstrable experience managing social media and marketing for charities or similar
- positive, friendly attitude
- communicate clearly and effectively in writing using proper spelling and grammar
- proactive: asking what you can do instead of waiting to be told what to do
- Organised and can stick to a schedule
- bonus: familiar with Canva and Meta business suite
Main Duties
- Post to social media regularly (may be delegated)
- Plan, execute and promote marketing-related activities
- Manage our public listings on various networking websites and newsletters
- Attend the shop in person to meet with other managers on a weekly or fortnightly basis as needed
- Attend events and regular operating hours for the purpose of gathering marketing material (photos, videos)
