Volunteer Opportunity, Retail Assistant • NADO Disability & Aged Care, Sensory Store • St Marys location • Flexible with hours and days (operating days are Monday to Friday) • Ideal commencement - as soon as possible

As we experience growth in our Sensory Store, we are looking for a volunteer who is passionate about being part of and contributing towards a rewarding element of our Organisation.
About NADO Disability & Aged Care The Sensory Store is owned and operated by NADO, a not for profit organisation and registered NDIS Provider that has over 40 years of experience within the disability sector. The Sensory Store provides a great range of quality sensory toys, educational tools, and therapy items to assist people of all ages and abilities. Our range of sensory items are particularly beneficial to people who are on the Autism spectrum, have developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, sensory processing disorder, or whom have general sensitivities to light and sound. About the Opportunity • Assist with pick and packing of products. • Accounting for incoming stock. • Labelling and sorting of stock. • Ensuring the sensory store is neat, organised, and fully stocked. • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for the customers. Volunteer Requirements • A NDIS Workers Check • Previous experience in retail or customer service is ideal, but not required as training will be provided. • Genuine interest in sensory products and supporting individuals with a disability. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent organisational skills. • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
