About Hyperemesis Australia: Hyperemesis Australia is a registered charity dedicated to supporting Australian families living with nausea and vomiting in pregnancy and hyperemesis gravidarum. The organisation advocates for greater awareness, research, funding, and support for these conditions while providing educational and supportive resources to healthcare professionals.
Position Overview: We're looking for a creative and organised Social Media and Communications Coordinator to help us share our message, grow our online presence, and engage with our community across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about maternal health, digital storytelling, and making a positive impact through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

Create and manage content calendars aligned with campaigns, awareness days, and organisational goals

Manage our public email inbox by replying to requests for support from sufferers and the broader community

Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments and messages on all our social media platforms including our support groups, fostering a positive and supportive community

Collaborate with our fundraising coordinator and Executive team to develop and operate campaigns that raise awareness and drive donations

Collaborate with team members and volunteers to gather stories, updates, and insights for content
