Volunteer Roles — NSW State Equestrian Interschool Championships 2025

Sydney International Equestrian Centre | 13-18 July 2025 Equestrian NSW is seeking enthusiastic and community-minded volunteers to help deliver one of the most exciting junior sporting events on the equestrian calendar — the 2025 NSW State Equestrian Interschool Championships.

This five-day event brings together school-aged riders from across NSW to compete at the iconic Sydney International Equestrian Centre — and we need your help to make it a success!

Volunteer Roles Available:

Arena Assistants Perfect for those who like to be part of the action!

Picking up or resetting jump rails during jumping events

Assisting marshals to guide riders and keep classes running on time

Helping younger competitors get to their classes

No horse handling required

Judge Assistants A great option for those who enjoy being organised and attentive.

Writing scores or comments for Dressage judges

Timing events

Recording results or managing score sheets

Catering Support Ideal for friendly, social volunteers who love looking after people.

Assisting with preparation and serving of food and drinks

Helping keep judges, officials, and organising committee well-fed and hydrated

Light kitchen and service duties

Who We Are Looking For:

• Volunteer s aged 16+ (under 16 with parental supervision)
• Friendly and respectful individuals who love supporting children’s sport
• No prior horse experience is necessary — training and support provided
• A passion for community involvement, teamwork and creating a positive environment
