About The Freedom Hub The Freedom Hub is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of modern slavery. We provide a safe space for survivors to rebuild their lives through educational programs, vocational training, and personal development. Our mission is to empower individuals to live freely, with dignity and independence, while raising awareness and advocating for systemic change to end human trafficking. By joining our team, you’ll play a key role in helping us create lasting impact for those affected by exploitation.

Volunteer Opportunities include:

Fundraising and Advocacy team:

• Creating, hosting and supporting the running of events
• Hosting The Freedom Hub stalls at events and conferences
• Representing The Freedom Hub in community environments
• Developing strategies to increase local knowledge in Queensland

Educational Coaches:

• Coach individuals with the goal of rebuild the lives of people who have experienced slavery in Australia
• Attend gathering events to build relationships
• Course teaching including ESL, budgeting, life skills

Operations:

• Assist with the weekly operations of The Freedom Hub
• Research fundraising and community engagement opportunities
• Grant Writing
• Communications
