Emergency Relief Support Volunteer

Based at SSI Gateway office in Logan

1 day a week commitment on Wednesdays

QLD Emergency Relief Program provide support to walk in clients and families.

**The Emergency Relied Support Volunteer ** will work alongside ER Officer to help manage and/or assess financial relief requests.

Tasks

• Welcoming clients who are visiting the SSI Gateway office

• Assist in assessing emergency relief requests from walk in clients

• Document client data and provide food hampers or vouchers

• Assist with administration and emailing of documents

• Put food hampers together

• Assist in directing clients to appropriate internal and external services as needed.

All applicants will be assessed based on suitability and availability
