The Global Humanitarian Aid Foundation (GHAF) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Media and Event Promotion Volunteer to help us share our mission and promote the impactful events we are organizing worldwide.

About Us: The Global Humanitarian Aid Foundation (GHAF) is a registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to alleviating suffering, empowering vulnerable communities, and fostering sustainable development worldwide. Through our work in food security, healthcare, education, and social welfare, we provide life-saving assistance and long-term resilience programs to marginalized populations affected by poverty, crises, and systemic inequities.

At GHAF, we advocate for dignity, equity, and self-sufficiency, ensuring that no individual is left behind. Our vision is "A world where compassion drives action—where no life is limited by poverty, disability, or crisis, and every individual thrives with dignity, health, and hope."

Role Overview: As a Media and Event Promotion Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in sharing the stories of the life-changing events we organize worldwide. We need someone who is creative, organized, and tech-savvy to create engaging posts, videos, and promotional content for our past and upcoming events. Your work will help amplify GHAF’s message and reach a global audience, driving awareness and support for our humanitarian initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: • Create engaging social media posts showcasing the events GHAF has organized, including using photos and videos from past events. • Design and edit video clips to highlight key moments from our events, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with GHAF’s mission. • Assist in preparing written content to accompany multimedia posts, including event summaries, impact statements, and calls to action. • Promote GHAF events and initiatives across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). • Work closely with the GHAF team to align content with our broader communication strategy.

Requirements: • Strong creative skills with proficiency in media editing tools (e.g., Canva, etc.). • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives. • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for engagement. • Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely. • Flexibility to volunteer during weekends is welcome, but we ask you to let us know your availability.
