Bicycles for Humanity Melbourne is a voluntary, not-for- profit organisation that collects disused bicycles and ships them to communities in need. The bicycles change lives forever by improving basic mobility for access to health care and education and increasing economic productivity. The container then becomes a pre-built bicycle workshop providing employment opportunities.

We have an opportunity for a volunteer to join our volunteer engagement committee, which is comprised of volunteers who share volunteer recruitment and engagement duties. Whether you are studying human resources and looking for practical experience or you are an experienced HR or talent acquisition professional looking to give back, we'd love to hear from you.

Members of the volunteer engagement committee:

• Collaborate with the Leadership Team to identify volunteer needs
• Attract, select and onboard volunteers
• Maintain policies, procedures and volunteer collateral
• Attend monthly meetings (mostly held via Teams, occasionally in person)
• Prepare monthly reports
