We seek someone who is energetic with good graphic design and website skills. They will provide support for brochures, booklets, flyers and web site enhancement. We supply the content and art work and you supply the design and presentation.

Your understanding of the organisation's programs and objectives will feed into your designs. The assets you produce - brochures, booklets, web site pages & more - will have a significant impact on public awareness of our organisation, and in particular will influence donor organisations and individuals.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. Graphic Arts, Skilled

2. Computer (design), Skilled

3. Website design, skilled

4. The ability to explain things simply and in plain English.

5. To understand the various types of audiences and produce communications that are suitable for all.

Training Successful candidates will be given an induction to/tour of the organisation and an introduction to staff and volunteers. The programs will be explained, how they operate and the impact they have. They will be shown the activities that need to be done and will be given the appropriate training.

This position would suit a Tertiary Student in Website maintenance or experienced Adult.
