Volunteer With Us – Support International Students Who Are Victims of Crime

We Are Australia Foundation is a Victorian harm prevention charity that supports international students who are victims of crime, including assault, exploitation, and wage theft. Our mission is to provide real, practical support and create a safer, more inclusive Australia for all.
We’re currently looking for compassionate and reliable volunteers to join our team. This is a general volunteering opportunity – you can choose the area you’d like to support, based on your interests and availability.
🔹 Key Duties (You can choose your area): Assist in event planning and coordination (e.g. upcoming Foundation launch)
Support admin, research, or data entry
Help with social media, digital content, or communications
Provide outreach or language support for international students
Assist in fundraising and community engagement
General behind-the-scenes support
🔹 Skills and Experience No experience is needed — just empathy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to help. Training and support will be provided for all roles. We welcome students, professionals, retirees, and anyone with a passion for community service.
🔹 About the Organisation We Are Australia Foundation is founded by educators and advocates with lived experience. Our Treasurer, Minh Duong, was once a vulnerable international student attacked while walking home from work. He is now a CPA and advocate for safer communities. Our leadership reflects the people we serve.
