The BaptistCare Social Club in Taree, is open five days a week and is a space that offers a day of activities or an outing for local seniors. It is a place they can enjoy friendships, social companionship, learn a new game or skill, participate in an enjoyable program of activities or attend one of the many outings.

We are looking for reliable people who wish to volunteer in a capacity that not only enriches the lives of the seniors attending, but also their own. Make new connections, give back to your local community, learn new skills or share a hobby and skill yourself.

You will be compassionate, have great communication skills, enjoy talking with people and engaging in conversation, and be willing to jump in to support the staff where required.

The clients/seniors are in attendance from 10am to 2pm and ideally you will be available from 9am to assist with set up and meeting and greeting on arrival. Although timing is flexible, and all assistance is greatly welcomed and appreciated.
