Volunteer Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: Volunteer Recruitment: Actively recruit volunteers from the community, local schools, universities, and partner organisations to support various events and campaigns.
Training and Induction: Develop and deliver onboarding sessions to familiarise volunteers with AIM’s mission, values, and expectations, as well as their specific roles and responsibilities.
Scheduling and Coordination: Create and manage volunteer rosters for events and ongoing initiatives, ensuring adequate coverage and clear communication of duties.
Support and Supervision: Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, providing guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive and meaningful experience.
Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, contact information, and feedback. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, including Working with Children Checks (if required) and safety protocols.
Recognition and Engagement: Organise volunteer appreciation initiatives and create opportunities for skill development and community connection among the volunteer team.
