Social media & Engagement Lead

The position is a Volunteer role and is a member of the PMI Queensland Chapter Marketing and Communications Team. Usually works under the supervision of the AD and is responsible for performing operational activities associated with the respective Portfolio and setting the vision for the Portfolio. Key duties of portfolio will include
· Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with PMI Queensland’s goals.
· Research and incorporate industry trends and best practices into the social media approach.
· Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos, infographics) across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms. · Develop interactive content (polls, quizzes, Q&A sessions, behind-the-scenes insights) to increase audience participation. · Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner to foster engagement. · Monitor PMI Queensland’s online presence and brand sentiment. · Use social media analytics tools (LinkedIn Insights, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics) to track performance. · Plan and execute targeted paid social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility and event registrations.
