The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Freedom Solutions Australia.

Freedom Solutions Australia is looking for Volunteers to assist in the running of several All Stars Inclusive Sports Day events in April 2025 to be held in regional locations across Victoria to encourage people living with a disability to try new activities, get moving and meet new people. The event will run for approximately three hours and is all about empowering individuals with disabilities to discover new sports, make friends, and have fun in a fully inclusive and supportive environment.

The Volunteer role involves:

• Help with setting up of activities/sports area.
• Welcome and register participants at the entry to each event.
• Engage with participants helps them find activities on the day.
• Promote Participation in activities and help participants engage in the variety of different sports.
• Conduct on-site experience surveys throughout the event.

Our last sports day event will be held on:

• Monday 14 April 2025 - Mornington Peninsula

Volunteers can either arrange their own transport to the venue or meet in Coburg North (VIC), at the Freedom Solutions head office, and ride with the event organisers.
