Role Overview: We are seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to join our Management Committee and provide financial oversight and strategic input. This role is crucial in ensuring financial sustainability and compliance while supporting our mission to create a fairer and more inclusive society.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the financial management of A Fairer World, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. • Work with the CEO and bookkeeper to review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. • Provide financial guidance to the Management Committee to support decision-making. • Ensure financial policies and procedures align with best practices and legal obligations. • Prepare and present financial statements at committee meetings.

Skills & Experience: • Experience in financial management, accounting, or bookkeeping (CPA/CA qualifications are desirable but not required). • Understanding of non-profit financial compliance and reporting (or willingness to learn). • Ability to explain financial matters to non-financial committee members. • Commitment to A Fairer World’s mission and values.
