PCYC Parkes is an integral sport and recreation facility in the Parkes region, serving our local citizens since 1977. The club proudly offers opportunities for everyone, from school children to seniors, from all walks of life. With recent upgrades worth over $600,000, we are a modern, safe, inclusive club delivering our mission to empower young people, and get our community active in sport and in life.

Committee member volunteer

Committee members work closely with their local Club Manager, supporting the Club's mission to enhance youth and community outreach efforts.

Committee members are responsible for

• developing strategies that address the needs of local youth
• supporting recruitment efforts for new members and volunteers
• promoting the club throughout the community.

Members also build partnership networks, advocate for youth and the broader community and support local fundraising initiatives to achieve PCYC’s mission and vision.

The time commitment for PCYC Club Committee members is designed to be manageable while allowing members to make a meaningful impact.

Suitable applicants will be asked to complete an application form, police background check and Working with Children Check.

We are seeking a diverse range of people to act on the committee, and would like to have a representative aged 15-20 years as well as 20+ years.
