Pickleball volunteer, PCYC Parkes

PCYC Parkes is an integral sport and recreation facility in the Parkes region, serving our local citizens since 1977. The club proudly offers opportunities for everyone, from school children to seniors, from all walks of life. With recent upgrades worth over $600,000, we are a modern, safe, inclusive club delivering our mission to empower young people, and get our community active in sport and in life.
Pickleball volunteer
Using a paddle and plastic wiffle ball, Pickleball is played on a hard surface indoors. The game is a combination of tactical shots, patience, and easy to learn strokes, which encourages inclusive play for people of all ages and abilities.
As a volunteer involved with our pickleball program, you'll be involved with developing the sport program, coaching, refereeing or supporting people to just play the game!
Our pickleball volunteers are people who love the game - or curious and are willing to learn. We'll provide all the training and support you need.
We're seeking volunteers who are available anytime during the week. During the school holidays, we may run additional programs, so we welcome your interest.
Suitable applicants will be asked to complete an application form, police background check and Working with Children Check.
