Centre 360 Youth and Family Service provides a safe, free, welcoming counselling service for young people aged 12-24 and their families to find the support they need on their journey to wellbeing. We are looking for volunteers to welcome clients to the centre and provide admin and program and/or comms support. We are looking for dedicated, reliable, and welcoming crew Mon-Fri 12-5pm. To work with us, you must have a Working with Children Check.

About the Role

This role is based in Paddington for a minimum of two afternoons a week for minimum 12 months. Flexible afternoon shifts, spanning 4-5 hours each, are available up to 5 days a week to accommodate your schedule. Volunteers work to a weekly roster, but we are flexible with holiday leave.

Access to email and a mobile smart device is required. Training will be provided.

Key Tasks of the Position:

*Greet and welcome clients to the service

*Provide general administration and office assistance

*Treat all personal information in confidence and respect client privacy

*Support and be a resource to the team using your own expertise and skillset (program support, creative, comms, budget, finance, editing, legal or fundraising skills highly valued).

*Undertake general office duties - answering phone calls, record keeping, ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment

*Take care of correspondence: send-receive office email in a professional manner

*Support with social media scheduling

*Support fundraising team with data entry, sponsor and beneficiary communication.

*Previous experience in an administrative capacity preferred

*Good computer & digital skills

*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with Teams (preferred)

*Have the capability to work independently

*Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

Attention to details and problem-solving skills
