Client Engagement Specialist (Volunteer)

Role Overview:

This volunteer role is perfect for someone with a passion for helping others, wanting to further develop their helpline skillsets and passionate about making a difference. Please note this role is a vital service of our organisation and as such we will be only considering applicants that are able to contribute 1 - 2 days per week at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helpline Competency: Answer incoming calls on the helpline and provide accurate information and support. Learn and efficiently use the call centre operations system.
  • Communication: Demonstrate understanding and empathy towards individuals with ADHD or other mental health conditions. Communicate clearly and compassionately with callers, ensuring they feel heard and supported.
  • Helpline Data Management: Learn and efficiently use the call centre operations system.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for all callers.

Qualifications & Skillset:

  • Ability to learn and navigate a call centre operations system.
  • Strong accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Understanding of ADHD or other mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak accurately and with compassion.
  • Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.
