Job Coach

We are looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done, you really want to make a difference to Aspergers, their families and communities in Victoria. We’re looking for someone who:
- Lived Experience & Expertise: Is neurodivergent and has qualifications/experience in coaching or counselling.
- Person-Centred Approach: Builds strong relationships and uses a strengths-based, growth-mindset coaching style.
- Coaching & Risk Awareness: Familiar with coaching/training materials, quality assurance, and risk mitigation (e.g., child safety).
- Assessment & Reporting: Experience assessing coachees, facilitating self-assessments (e.g., K10, CliftonStrengths), and report writing.
- Industry Knowledge: Exposure to NDIS plan management is highly regarded.
- Work Style: Calm, empowering, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in teams, even in remote and evolving environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and other IT systems.
- Values & Compliance: Aligns with AV’s vision and philosophy of autism as a difference, not a disability. Holds a valid driver’s licence, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children Check, with an understanding of Child Safety requirements.
It’s also handy, but not essential if you have: ● qualifications and experience in training neurodivergent populations or supporting career development and employment ● understanding of a membership organisation ● knowledge and prior experience in the Not for Profit sector
