As a volunteer with integrated Australia, you will play a crucial role in supporting older individuals to live independently and stay connected to their community. Your responsibilities will involve offering companionship, social support, and practical assistance to ensure their wellbeing.
KEY RESPOSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE: Social support: Engage with clients at the activities Centre, have conversations about their day. interest and hobbies. Activities may include playing games, reading books, or simply providing a friendly presence. Practical Assistance: Assist clients in participating in activities that align interests and capabilities. Help staff organize various activities, including meal preparation and serving under supervision and act as a bus host for client's transportation.
Community Connection: Serve as a source of support to help clients engage in community activities. Aid clients in building connections with community.
