Recruiter (Volunteer)
Key Responsibilities
- Utilise various channels to advertise volunteer opportunities, such as social media, job boards, volunteer platforms and community websites
- Review applications and conduct initial screening to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct interviews to assess suitability for specific roles required by the organisation, prior to recruiting them into the organisation with the assistance of the Founding Director
- Correspond with the various teams within the organisation, ensuring any new volunteers are introduced to respective coordinators and management committee
- Assist with maintaining electronic HR files for all volunteers
- Undertake recruitment-related administrative tasks.
- Escalate any issues (potential, new and existing) directly to the Founding Director.
- Uphold and work within the guidelines, policies, mission, and values of The Nurtured Village Hampers.
- Identify and escalate opportunities for operational improvements, ensuring commitment to the well-being of volunteers, hamper recipients, and the community.
Key Competencies & Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organisation
- **Experience in Recruitment is desirable; ideally within the Community Services industry **
- Previous volunteer experience is desirable.
- Experience in the Non-for-Profit sector, preferably in a Charity environment.
