Gadibundhu is an Indigenous-led, male-only drug and alcohol rehabilitation service. Our six-bedroom, live-in recovery program provides intervention for up to 10 men, supported by a live-in site manager. Operating without government funding or grants, our independent work saves taxpayers an estimated $8–10 million per year by reducing incarceration and hospitalisation rates. Volunteer Role
We are looking for a Social Work Volunteer to assist with: ✅ Procedure writing and policy development ✅ Linking residents to essential services ✅ Grant applications and funding support ✅ Counselling and client support Time Commitment
🕒 Flexible volunteering hours—we will work with you to find a schedule that suits your availability. Our program runs Monday to Thursday (8:30 AM – 7 PM), with the centre open from 10 AM – 4 PM. Weekend supervision is in place, but no formal program runs during this time. Why Volunteer With Us?
