The position of Volunteer - Membership is a volunteer role and is a member of the PMI Queensland Chapter Leadership Team. Volunteer - Membership will work under the supervision of the AD Membership and is responsible for performing operational activities associated with the Membership portfolio. Volunteer - Membership will set and deliver the vision for the Membership portfolio. The Volunteer - Membership will be a strong team player and proactively support the portfolio and the portfolio team leader. Key duties of AD Membership will include: • Assist with events and group meetups. • Attend monthly chapter events, make members feel welcome and represent PMI Queensland chapter in a professional manner. • Canvas professional networks appropriately to help identify what factors might encourage Chapter membership or drive attrition. • Help with the creation of artefacts / documentation / tools as appropriate, in support of value increasing initiatives. • Proactively identify opportunities to increase value proposition for members and work in collaboration with PMI ® and Leadership team to work on those opportunities. • Respond to enquiries from members as well as non-members in a timely manner and in the best interest of PMI ® and PMI Queensland. • Conduct periodical New Members Welcome events when the AD and DAD Membership are unavailable. • Assist in conducting periodical Exit Surveys to identify opportunities to improve value proposition for membership.
