Social Media Content Creator

Who are we? The small but highly professional team at TSA (Tuberous Sclerosis Australia) provides information and support to the 2,500 individuals and their families in Australia living with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC). TSC is devastating rare genetic condition which causes tumours to grow in various organs of the body. We connect people living with TSC and their families to each other and to specialist health professionals, to reduce their isolation and help ensure they get can live their best possible lives.
What will you be doing? If you are a social media content creator, then this is a great role for you. Responsibilities will include:
- Using our social media calendar and content ideas supplied by other members of the team to write accurate and timely updates to our community via our WordPress website and social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram. We usually aim to post on social media every 2-3 days and at least weekly on our website.
- Sourcing or creating appropriate, eye catching images to use to promote posts (ensuring no violation of copyright).
- Adherence to house style and branding guides.
- Alerting other team members to social media posts that may require a response from TSA.
- Suggesting original content for posts.
Your help will really make a difference to the team supporting people in Australia affected by this devastating genetic condition.
What systems do we use? We use WordPress to manage our website and Canva to create graphics. To schedule posts we use Meta Business suite.
