Are you passionate about fostering meaningful connections and supporting older adults to live independently? HANZA is seeking volunteers to partner with us in developing and testing a new, community-driven approach to Homeshare in Western Australia.

What is Homeshare? Homeshare is a proven model that connects older adults with compatible housemates to share a home for mutual benefit. It fosters intergenerational relationships, promotes companionship, and supports affordable and independent living.

About HANZA HANZA is the peak body for Homeshare in Australia and New Zealand. We advocate for and support the growth of Homeshare programs, and we are now exploring ways to make self-directed Homeshare more widely accessible.

How You Can Help As a Homeshare Coach Volunteer, you will: ✔ Partner with older adults and their families to explore Homeshare options. ✔ Provide mentoring and support as they establish their own living arrangements. ✔ Share insights to help refine and improve the Homeshare model. ✔ Build community awareness and connections around intergenerational living.

This is a volunteer opportunity with the potential to evolve, making it ideal for community-minded individuals who enjoy innovative projects. Your contributions will help shape a new way for people to find supportive living arrangements.
