We are seeking a volunteer with a passion to give back in the community of South West Sydney by visiting an elderly lady living at home in Horsley Park. Our client speaks both Italian and English, she enjoys sitting in the sun, sharing stories, coffee, values friendship and would enjoy meeting someone to chat with over a cuppa.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the clients cared for by HammondCare.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
