Assist with Monthly Lunch Bus Outing for Aged Care Residents

Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist two staff members in supporting residents during the outing.
- Help with boarding and disembarking the bus, ensuring the safety and comfort of all residents.
- Offer companionship and engage residents in conversation during the trip.
- Follow instructions from staff to ensure the outing runs smoothly and residents enjoy their time.
Details:
- When: One Thursday each month, from approximately 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (duration may vary depending on the outing location).
- Where: Starting from the residential aged care home in Gordon, with outings to various locations for lunch.
- Who: This role will directly support two staff members leading the outing and work with a small group of residents.
Qualifications:
No formal qualifications required – just a warm, friendly, and patient personality. A genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of elderly residents. Availability for the monthly outings (Thursdays only).
