Volunteers Needed to Plant Trees
Saturday 3rd May is Wild Koala Day. Celebrate by planting native trees to connect vital koala habitat and create a food bank for injured koalas in WIRES care.
This planting is part of the Creating Canopies project, to help reduce urban heat. Our target is to plant 300,000 native trees & shrubs across Greater Sydney by the end of 2025 - and we have just under 55,000 left to plant this year! Come along to one of our tree planting events and be a part of it. It's a fun way to do something positive for nature.
No gardening experience is necessary and all ages are welcome.
