About the role The WordPress/SEO Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's digital presence through website maintenance, content development, and search engine optimization strategies. This role combines technical expertise with content creation skills to drive online visibility and user engagement.

• Manage and maintain the organization's WordPress website, ensuring optimal performance, security, and functionality
• Implement website improvements to enhance user experience and engagement
• Monitor website performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
• Ensure website responsiveness across all devices and browsers
• Create and optimize landing pages, blog posts, and other digital content
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine content requirements
• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and best practices
• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings
• Conduct keyword research and implement optimization techniques
• Implement technical SEO best practices and stay current with industry trends

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in SEO best practices and tools
• Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• WordPress theme customization and plugin management experience
• Knowledge of current web design trends and best practices
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools
• Experience with technical SEO audits and implementation
