About the role We're seeking a talented Video Producer/Editor to create compelling visual content across our marketing channels. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with creative storytelling abilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various marketing platforms including social media, website, and promotional materials
• Manage end-to-end video production from conceptualization through final delivery
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts that align with campaign objectives
• Film and photograph TEDxPerth events, products, and promotional content
• Edit raw footage and audio to create polished final products
• Maintain consistent brand identity across all visual content
• Archive and organize video and photo assets
• Optimize content for different platforms and formats

Requirements

• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and production skills
• Excellence in composition, lighting, and audio recording
• Experience with photography and photo editing
• Understanding of current video production trends and best practices
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Expert knowledge of video editing software and digital video formats
• Experience with colour grading and audio mixing
• Proficiency with lighting equipment and camera gear
• Understanding of video compression and delivery formats
• Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects
• Familiarity with content management systems
