Give back to your local community by helping to provide this much needed service to our senior and disabled community members. The Meals on Wheels community kitchen volunteers will assist the community restaurant coordinator in preparing and serving meals to client at our Bateau Bay location.

This client facing position requires volunteers who are pleasant and caring as they engage with vulnerable clients, often lending companionship and support.

We are looking for volunteers who are:

• Pleasant and caring • Physically active • Able to follow safety and hygiene procedures at all times • Able to work as a team member • Reliable • A sense of humour would be a bonus!

Some heavy lifting may be required in this role when moving stock and kitchen supplies.

A meal will also be provided at every shift.
