Companionship & Social Support

Training

2 x 1/2 day training (flexible), including some online as well as face to face. Ongoing training, access to the Palliative Care Volunteer Conference, monthly meetings with relevant ongoing education.

Time required

2-4 hours a week or fortnightly

Reimbursement

reward and recognition such as Volunteer Week, International volunteer day, end of year event

Requirements

Covid-19 vaccination
Driver's Licence (C)
Flu vaccination
National Police Certificate
Working with Children Check

Vaccinations up to date or happy to get these through Health (free for volunteers) including in 2 covid vaccinations, and Hepatitis B. Drivers license to get to clients home.
