Key Duties:

Operate point of sale system and handle transactions accurately - Process payments including cash, card, and discount vouchers - Maintain clean and tidy retail spaces throughout the day - Keep checkout areas well-organised - Create welcoming displays and ensure proper product presentation - Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and presentation - Monitor shop floor and replenish stock as needed - Assist customers with queries and provide friendly service - Handle donations and thank donors appropriately

Skills and Experience:

Strong customer service skills and friendly demeanour - Basic numeracy skills and attention to detail - Understanding of retail presentation standards - Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move around the shop floor - Organised approach to maintaining clean and tidy spaces - Ability to handle cash and operate payment systems - Comfortable working independently and as part of a team - Previous retail or customer service experience beneficial but not required - Must be reliable and able to commit to regular shifts
