About MISA

Men’s Information and Support Association (MISA) is a leading men’s focussed counselling organisation servicing Brisbane’s northern suburbs and the Moreton Bay region since 1997.

We employ a team of counsellors who are experts in responsibility-based approaches to men’s wellbeing and highly experienced in working with men in need to build healthy relationships and positively contribute to their families, workplaces and communities.

The Volunteer Fundraiser will assist in raising funds to support MISA's mission and programs. The role involves helping to plan and execute fundraising initiatives, engaging with donors, and fostering relationships to secure financial support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing fundraising campaigns, events, or initiatives.
• Support crowdfunding or online donation efforts by sharing campaigns and encouraging participation.
• Reach out to potential and existing donors to encourage support.
• Thank donors and supporters through personalized messages or follow-ups.
• Promote fundraising activities through social media, email, and other channels.
• Collaborate with the broader MISA team to create engaging content for campaigns.
• Engage with local businesses or community groups for sponsorships or in-kind donations.
• Build relationships with individuals or organisations interested in supporting MISA's cause.
