Volunteer with Beacon Foundation to inspire young people

Help Break the Cycle of Disadvantage and Empower Young People to Build Brighter Futures
In today’s job market, many young people are left behind, lacking the career confidence and skills needed to have the aspiration, motivation, and ability to determine their working future.
Students that have access to mentorship and exposure to industry experience lower levels of youth unemployment, higher wages, and greater job satisfaction.
We believe in supporting the aspirations of all young people, regardless of their postcode or background.
We are seeking industry professionals to participate in our career readiness workshops with Year 7-12 students. You will have the opportunity to assist young people explore their career options, develop job-readiness skills, and increase their career confidence.
Our programs are led by experienced facilitators in a fun, workshop-style format, making it an engaging experience for everyone involved.
