We are seeking a volunteer to attend a monthly shopping trip with some of our aged care residents. You will partner with residents, providing assistance, support and company chatting with residents along the way. Your guidance will be needed to support residents as they board and disembark the bus, assist as they complete their shopping and to enjoy conversation and connection. Staff attending the outing will be available for support as needed.

The shopping trip runs on the 3rd Tuesday morning of each month, hours will be between 9.30am - 12.30pm

Volunteer Applicants must be 18 years or older.

You will receive excellent support from our dedicated staff and should find your time volunteering personally rewarding as well. Our residents are incredible individuals with rich stories and life experiences that they often enjoy sharing during activity times. They are always eager to connect, as time spent with visitors brings joy and enriches their lives.
