We currently need volunteers in Bondi, Redfern, Riverstone, Marrickville and the Inner West to assist at our mobile libraries. Volunteers collect and return books from our storage unit in Camperdown, setup at our mobile library location (usually alongside another service provider such as a food truck or mobile laundry), chat to readers and assist them in choosing books and/or reading glasses. At least 2 volunteers per shift. Are you: Available on week days? Able to commit to 2-4 hours per month during the day? Able to drive, reasonably fit and able to lift boxes up to 10kg?
