Are you passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of older people? When you become an Anglicare Volunteer you are joining a team who brighten people’s lives every day.

We seek a volunteer who speaks Cantonese and Mandarin to visit with a group of residents living in a residential aged care for a weekly game of Mahjong on a Thursday afternoon. The group enjoys time spent together sharing conversation and connection and would enjoy the support of a volunteer to join them.

Visits are Thursday afternoons weekly between 2pm - 4pm

You will receive excellent support from our dedicated staff and should find your time volunteering personally rewarding as well. Our residents are incredible individuals with rich stories and life experiences that they often enjoy sharing during activity times. They are always eager to connect, as time spent with visitors brings joy and enriches their lives.
