Orange Sky is launching a brand new free laundry pod service in Orange, NSW this September, and we’re looking for passionate Service Coordinators to help lead our new volunteer team on the ground.

We don’t have all the answers to homelessness—but we do know the power of a clean load of laundry and a genuine conversation. As a Service Coordinator, you’ll help ensure each shift is welcoming, safe, and smoothly run.

You’ll work closely with your local team, Orange Sky HQ, and our service partners to support the people and operations that make each shift possible.

What does the role involve?

• Mentor, train and support your volunteer team
• Lead communication between your team and Orange Sky HQ
• Coordinate rosters, support new volunteers, and help shifts run smoothly
• Build relationships with local service providers and partners
• Report any wins, challenges, or issues so we can keep improving

What we’re looking for:

• Strong people skills and a calm, inclusive leadership style
• Great communication and organisation
• Passion for making a positive difference in your local community
• Confidence using digital tools (or willingness to learn)

You’ll receive full training, onboarding, and ongoing support from the Orange Sky team to help you thrive in this role.
