About Us:

Community Accessability is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting disability and aged care recipients across the state. We are seeking compassionate and community-focused volunteers to provide essential phone-based support to our aged care clients, ensuring their transport needs are met.

About the Role:

As a Volunteer Confirmations Officer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our disability and aged care clients. Your role is crucial in confirming appointments and transport schedules, ensuring our clients’ access to essential services and community connections are being met. Through compassionate and attentive phone calls, you will provide reassurance, address any changes in transport needs and offer much needed support. By helping to ensure their transportation is reliable and their needs are met with care, you will be offering not just a service, but peace of mind - knowing that they are cared for, valued and never alone.

This role is both rewarding and impactful, allowing you to directly contribute to the well-being and happiness of those who rely on these vital services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular phone confirmations with disability and aged care clients.
  • Provide a friendly and empathetic ear to listen to their needs and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions.
  • Identify and report any concerns or issues to management.
  • Support initiatives that enhance client satisfaction and well-being.

  • A friendly, patient, and empathetic approach to client interaction.
  • Passion for supporting aged care clients and improving their experience.
  • Basic computer literacy – full training will be provided.
