The Proveda Belong Club crafternoons offer a safe space for craft enthusiasts to gather and unleash their imagination. From sketching to knitting, stitching to origami, and everything in between, the possibilities are endless. Whether it’s trying out a new project or putting the finishing touches on an old favorite, every crafternoon promises a unique journey of self-expression and community bonding.

Your role is simple yet oh-so-rewarding. As a Belong Club Volunteer, you’ll be the heart and soul of the event, offering words of encouragement, steering engaging conversations, and ensuring everyone feels welcome. The Belong Club is a Proveda initiative, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to spreading kindness and building resilient communities. By joining our team of passionate volunteers, you'll be at the forefront of a movement to combat loneliness and create meaningful connections.

All Proveda Volunteers are fully onboarded, which includes a free Police Check, and anyone over the age of 18 can be a Volunteer. To register your interest in becoming a Belong Club Volunteer, please complete our easy-to-use Volunteer Registration Form (found on the Community Programs/Volunteer page of our website)

We insist that all Volunteers follow the Australian Government, Department of Health Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) guidelines at all times.

Additional requirements: Completion of the Proveda Volunteer Registration Form, followed by an onboarding process, which includes a free Police Check. All our Volunteers must be fully COVID vaccinated.

Time Required: 1.5 hours a week.

Benefits There are many benefits to becoming a Proveda Community Volunteer. Our current Volunteers get great satisfaction from supporting people in their local area that otherwise would be without connection or support. Proveda strives to ensure that Volunteers are supported, trained and valued as part of our Community Volunteer team. Training is provided and social events throughout the year give you the opportunity to meet other Volunteers in your community. Volunteers also receive ongoing support throughout the year from our dedicated Volunteer Coordinator which enables the Volunteer to build confidence to deliver expert social care and support.
