Requirements

National Police Certificate

You will need to provide a letter from your vet stating your dog's temperament is suitable for this role, and up to date immunisation certificates. You need to sign a Stat Dec regarding no criminal history and have it witnessed in person by a JP. You will also need to attend a Service NSW office in person with your ID to complete your NDIS check, and provide character references as part of your application process. There is mandatory training for being in a care home which you can do online. We will support you with this if needed. Then there is an onsite orientation when you start.
