The Saroni Roy Foundation (SRf) is an award-winning not-for-profit organisation (public company limited by guarantee) and registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) with Deductible Gift Recipient Status, headquartered in Sydney. SRf's purpose is to inform, inspire, and engage multicultural communities & global citizens worldwide to create a safer, fairer, more sustainable world. With structured peace education & engagement programs ensconced in Gandhian values, SRf aims to create a paradigm shift in the way the world thinks about peace. Accentuating soft power, a 3Cs approach of tapping into the 'Cultural, Creative & Circular Economy', and partnerships, SRf aims to inspire change, promote diversity, and foster inclusive dialogue about pressing global issues.
We are looking for dynamic, visionary, game-changers to join our leadership team as a Board Director, fostering strategic partnerships and driving our core initiatives. Based in Australia, this pivotal role requires an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and demonstrates passion for meaningful impact in the non-profit & social enterprise sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of SRf's mission, programs, and long-term vision.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with government, community leaders, corporate partners, sponsors and donors to enhance program reach and impact.
- Program Oversight: Oversee SRf's flagship peace economics & D.E.I projects, including multicultural events, providing financial and legal oversight.
- Policy and Advocacy: Advocate for SRf’s mission and values, representing the foundation at key events, government forums, and public engagements.
- Team Development: Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all legal, ethical, and financial standards governing non-profits.
