The Digital team leads AI Australia’s digital and communications strategies to ensure Amnesty maintains its profile as Australia’s leading human rights organisation and continues to attract, engage and retain supporters in order to maximise the organisation’s human rights impact.

The Digital Intern/Volunteer will work directly with the Paid Media Specialist and Associate to assist in the production of our social and paid media creative assets. The Digital Intern/Volunteer will also work with the Digital Content Producer (Campaigns) to produce articles and blogs for the website.

You will have the opportunity to gain insight into the world of digital strategies in a major human rights organisation with access to individual coaching and mentoring and will be exposed to:

• Producing innovative and engaging digital creative (graphics and video) and copy as well as assisting with the production of associated assets and materials, including landing and action pages, visual assets and digital resources. • Assisting with the management of digital ad platforms including building and optimising ads and ad campaigns • Mail fulfilment support for the Digital Team from the Action Centre as needed • Moderation of social media channels • Working to a brief to write and publish blogs and key research reports to the AIA website. • Creating and pitching content ideas to the Digital Team for organic and paid promotion opportunities.
